The rapid development of digital technologies has radically changed the conventional commercial environment and turned it into a connected platform economy which is characterized by the domination of such features as data, extreme scalability and network effects. At the same time, along with all these innovations, there are serious issues related to ecosystem vulnerability, cybersecurity risks and instability. This research examines the risk architecture of digital ecosystems by analyzing how various digital and economic factors affect platform vulnerability. By means of quantitative platform business model assessment, the study uses a secondary dataset including 2,250 observations and 17 variables gathered from digital platforms around the world for the period between 2020 and 2024. A variety of statistical approaches were used in the research, namely, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, independent t-test, ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U test, OLS regression and logistic regression. As a result, there were discovered extremely low correlations and statistically insignificant relationships between isolated variables and very poor performance of the predictive regression models.
